The Agent-to-Agent Marketplace on Arc is a full-stack system that enables autonomous AI agents to discover, evaluate, and pay each other for services using sub-cent USDC micropayments. Built for the Agentic Economy, the platform demonstrates a complete economic loop where a requester agent receives a task, selects the most suitable broker agent based on price, capability, and on-chain reputation, and executes the task through a paid API call. Payments are handled using Circle Developer-Controlled Wallets and Nanopayments (x402), allowing near-zero-cost, high-frequency transactions. Each successful interaction is evaluated by a judge agent, and the resulting quality score is written on-chain to the Arc testnet as ERC-8004 reputation feedback, creating a transparent and trustable system for agent performance. The system includes a web-based control dashboard (Next.js on Vercel) and a backend orchestration engine (FastAPI on Railway) powered by PydanticAI and Gemini models. A dedicated 50-transaction proof demonstrates the feasibility of scaling sub-cent payments, achieving real-time throughput with verifiable on-chain records. This project highlights how traditional blockchain gas costs make microtransactions economically impossible, and how stablecoin-native infrastructures like Arc combined with Circle Nanopayments unlock entirely new business models such as pay-per-inference, pay-per-query, and machine-to-machine commerce.
