Arc ID (Arc Name Service) is a next-generation identity protocol built specifically for the Arc Network ecosystem. As the network grows with both human users and autonomous AI agents, the need for human-readable identities becomes critical for security and usability. Arc ID allows anyone to replace complex 0x addresses with simple names like alice.arc or bot.agent. The project is architected for maximum reliability using a dual-layer indexing approach. We integrated the Circle Smart Contract Platform API to handle large-scale event indexing, ensuring that name searches and cüzdan discovery are near-instant. To ensure 100% uptime, we implemented a robust RPC fallback layer that kicks in automatically if API limits are reached. Key features include: Native USDC Registration: A seamless onboarding experience where names are priced and paid for in native USDC. Dual-Layer Resolution: High-performance indexing via Circle API combined with real-time RPC verification. Integrated Send Module: A dedicated interface to resolve names and transfer assets in a single, verified workflow. Verified Transaction Tracking: Every registration is linked to its unique transaction hash, providing full transparency via ArcScan.
