NanoAgent: Edge-First Web Intelligence

NanoAgent: Re-imagining Edge Intelligence with Live Web Access Most AI agents today are bloated wrappers around multi-billion parameter cloud models. NanoAgent takes a different path. We built a custom Transformer-based language model from the ground up, specifically optimized for edge deployment and real-time data processing. Core Innovation: - Architecture from Scratch: Unlike typical hackathon projects, we didn't just call an API. We developed an 8-layer Transformer architecture with BPE tokenization, trained on a custom curriculum of instructional reasoning and logic. - Live Web Reasoning (RAG): NanoAgent uses the Bright Data SERP API as its eyes. Instead of relying on static, outdated knowledge, it fetches live data and uses its internal reasoning engine to extract and summarize the most relevant facts. - Extreme Efficiency: Designed to run under 100MB of RAM, making it perfect for Raspberry Pi, edge servers, or lightweight serverless functions. How it works: 1. The user asks a question via our CLI or Web interface. 2. NanoAgent classifies the intent and triggers a live web search via Bright Data. 3. The raw web data is injected into the model's context. 4. Our custom model reasons over the data to provide a concise, factual answer.
