We welcome you to join us for a 3-day OpenAI GPT-3 Online Hackathon 2022 #1! Once again we're partnering with OpenAI to give the LabLab (DLL) community the opportunity to build with the world's most powerful artificial intelligence language model.

GPT-3 Hackathon Details

The hackathon starts on June 24th and ends on June 26th. Over the weekend you will have the opportunity to learn from AI experts during their Keynote Sessions and Fireside Chat. Event ends with teams presenting their solutions. We encourage you to join our Discord server to connect with others and to stay updated.

What is GPT-3

GPT-3 stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3 and it is a autoregressive language model that uses deep learning to produce human-like text. It is the third-generation language prediction model in the GPT-n series created by OpenAI. GPT-3 is currently in open beta. You can create an account for free here: https://beta.openai.com/

How to participate in the hackathon

The hackathon will take place online on lablab.ai platform and Deep Learning Labs Discord Server. Please register for both in order to participate. Previous experience in AI is not required. While many participants are industry experts, we also welcome people with other types of domain knowledge that want to understand & explore how AI can be used in their fields. Who can join the Hackathon?

We welcome domain experts from all industries, not just AI/tech. Successful AI solutions require a combination of technical expertise and domain knowledge. Identifying valuable solutions and business cases requires insights from many different industries. To build successful solutions with GPT-3 we need to understand the needs of potential clients and users. This is best achived by having diverse teams consisting of both technical and other types of domain expertise

Do I need a team?

You are welcome to join as a team or solo, if solo. We encourage you to look for a team before the event. We recommend you to join the Deep Learning Labs Discord channel: https://discord.gg/gCuBwBB35k and posting in the #looking-for-team channel to get to know your potential future team members

Do I need a Github account?

It is recommended, that at least one team member has a Github account. You can create one for free if you don't already have one.
