About me

Pedro Markun is a hacker and open data activist who specializes in political transparency and participation. He's the creator of the Ônibus Hacker and Jogo da Política, and author of the children's books "Who Rules Here?" and "Animal Election." A columnist for UOL Tilt, he writes about Virtual Reality and Artificial Intelligence. With over 15 years of experience in technology, communication, and political education, he's a Python developer and Arduino enthusiast. Currently, he serves as the innovation coordinator for State Representative Marina Helou in São Paulo, where he develops innovative political education projects like Participatory Bidding for Parliamentary Amendments, CineALESP, Escola Lidera, and Confraelas.
