A proactive, dynamic, communicative Full Stack Software Developer with a love of performing and writing music, reading, food, travel and helping others to realise their potential. Currently looking to gain employment at a company who recognises the importance of fostering early software career talent, in an environment that gives me the chance to grow quickly. Previously in my career I was a qualified musician and teacher, subsequently moving into a further education senior mana gement role. I was drawn towards software development due to its potential to be applied in all manners of industry and life, offering varie d and exciting opportunities. Having graduated from the highly selective and intensive 16 week bootcamp at Makers Academy, London , I am looking to combine my leadership and management experience, creativity and problem solving skills in an exciting and challenging development enviro nment. Enjoying every facet of the tech industry since making my change, software development has brought the best out of me, coupling my career experience with the opportunities to create new and exciting websites, apps and programs.

After spending 8+ years in corporate and financial PR, what was previously an obsessive hobby has become my full-time focus, and I’ve finally taken the plunge to pursue a new challenge in the tech industry. From building PCs for friends and family to experimenting with home servers and automating tasks with scripting, I've always looked for ways to make life easier and more efficient with technology. I just graduated from Makers Academy having built some pretty cool stuff along the way, and am now eager to apply my skills and experience to new, interesting projects.
