Bob the BuilderAI is an AI-powered enterprise modernization platform built using IBM Bob to transform legacy business workflows into production-ready microservices. Enterprise teams often spend weeks manually analyzing legacy systems, extracting business logic, designing APIs, implementing backend services, writing tests, creating documentation, and preparing deployments. Our platform automates this entire modernization lifecycle through intelligent AI orchestration. Using IBM Bob’s repository-aware reasoning and multi-step workflow capabilities, Bob the BuilderAI analyzes legacy workflows and converts them into fully functional microservices with minimal human intervention. The system performs service boundary analysis, backend architecture generation, API design, automated testing, documentation generation, and deployment packaging through a coordinated multi-agent pipeline. For our proof of concept, we focused on an inventory management modernization scenario where the platform transforms legacy inventory logic into a deployable node js-based microservice with PostgreSQL integration, OpenAPI documentation, Docker support, CI/CD workflows, automated test coverage, and operational runbooks. Unlike traditional code-generation tools that only produce isolated snippets, Bob the BuilderAI demonstrates how AI can automate complete enterprise engineering workflows. The platform significantly reduces repetitive development effort, accelerates software modernization, improves developer productivity, and helps organizations modernize enterprise systems faster while maintaining production readiness and engineering quality.

LogistiX AI is a multi-agent, fully automated shipment disruption management system built using IBM watsonx Orchestrate. The solution addresses one of the biggest challenges in logistics—slow, manual, and error-prone disruption handling that leads to delays, high operational costs, and poor customer satisfaction. Using watsonx Orchestrate, LogistiX AI coordinates several specialized agents: a Status Agent that extracts the shipment’s condition, location, ETA, and tracking history; a Reroute Agent that calculates the best alternative route with new ETAs and cost impact; an Email Agent that drafts clear customer messages automatically; and a Dashboard Agent that generates an executive-ready impact summary. The system also includes predictive delay detection, automated supervisor escalation for high-priority shipments, and optional ERP/CRM integration for real-world enterprise use. With just a shipment ID as input, the AI performs end-to-end disruption recovery in seconds. This reduces manual workload by over 90%, improves communication quality, and gives leadership instant visibility into operational impact. LogistiX AI demonstrates the power of IBM watsonx as an orchestration engine, combining workflow automation with intelligent reasoning to deliver a scalable, production-ready solution for modern supply chains.
