Aureo leads the Global Planning & Analytics' DevOps team for HAVI’s Supply Chain. He had formerly led the HAVI North America Supply Chain Business and Data Solutions team. Before joining HAVI in 2022, Aureo led the United Airlines’ Supply Chain Data Science, Inventory Forecasting, Business Technology, and Reporting teams. He started working for the airline as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and had leadership positions in Spare Parts Planning, Airport Operations Resource Planning, and Predictive Safety. He started his career in Brazil working for Allied Signal, IBM, and Procter & Gamble. He joined the General Electric Technical Leadership program, and later Motorola on Quality Engineering, Corporate Research (Advanced Technology Center), Industrial Engineering, and the Lean Six Sigma program. In 2006 he joined Brightstar Corporation in the USA to lead their supply chain industrial engineering, and Lean Six Sigma program. He holds a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering with majors in Computational Mechanics and Manufacturing Engineering, and graduate degrees in Optimization, Quality, and Industrial Engineering from UNICAMP, Brazil’s leading research university. He also has a graduate degree from the prestigious EAESP-FGV CEAG program in Business Administration and is a Project Management specialist from FIA-FEA-USP in Brazil (PMI PMP). In the USA he obtained additional graduate degrees in Applied Statistics and Data Analytics from the Pennsylvania State University, where he is currently working on a Doctor of Engineering degree, exploring state-of-the-art Generative AI techniques to improve the Software Development process, and is an Adjunct Instructor for the Engineering Graduate Programs at the PSU World Campus. Aureo is also certified Black Belt (CSSBB) by the American Society for Quality, and an Open Source enthusiast working on multiple Data Science applications.
