I'm Aniket Soni, a determined technophile from India with a story of defying odds to achieve success. Born into a middle-class family, I nurtured a childhood dream of becoming a computer engineer. While I didn't attend an elite university, I pursued a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering at Gujarat Technological University. My educational journey culminated in a Master of Sciences in Computer Science from Southern Arkansas University in 2020. Armed with this education, I embarked on a career in technology. Currently, I'm employed at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where I handle ETL pipelines and develop Python and PySpark programs for automated data quality checks. Notably, I engineered a Slack app API integration for efficient data quality issue notifications. My skill set encompasses SQL, Databricks, Data Analysis, and Data Visualization. Beyond my professional role, I actively mentor and volunteer. I'm an English buddy for the ENGin Program in Ukraine and a mentor for the Freedom Employability Academy (FEA) in India. I hold prestigious GCP certifications, including Google Cloud Certified Associate Cloud Engineer and Cloud Digital Leader titles. Additionally, I'm a Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate. I serve as a Research Software Engineer at Climate Change Xplorers, contributing to predictive analysis through IoT data tools. I'm particularly skilled in analyzing and visualizing geospatial data. I've had the privilege of being a Globee Awards judge, reinforcing my commitment to technology excellence. My journey exemplifies that passion, determination, and the willingness to learn can pave the way to success.
