I'm a Computer Science and Engineering student at Manipal Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. What drew me to Computer Science is simple, it gives me the freedom to build solutions to real-world problems. That's what makes it fun. I take a practical approach to learning; as soon as I pick up something new, I try to build with it. It keeps things interesting for me. Right now I'm deeply into AI, exploring Deep Learning, CNNs, RNNs, GNNs and a lot more. There is always something new to learn and it genuinely fascinates me. What makes it even more exciting is seeing the math I studied come to life in these models. Linear algebra, calculus, probability, statistics, during lectures I kept wondering where any of this would ever be useful. Learning about AI answered that question. Things started clicking in a way they hadn't before. I'm also exploring Quantum Computing on the side, and what drew me to it was a deep love for mathematics and physics, Quantum Computing is where those two meet. It genuinely fascinates me. There's something about it that feels almost unbelievable, like it shouldn't work the way it does, but it does. The more I learn, the more I find myself thinking: is this really how things work in the real world?
