I am Zulqarnain Ali, a Data Science undergraduate at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur with over three years of experience in machine learning, computer vision, and geospatial analysis. As a Kaggle Master (top 1% globally), I have won six competition medals and achieved top rankings in global AI challenges.
I specialize in building and fine-tuning machine learning models, working as a freelance ML engineer to help clients turn research into real-world solutions. My skills include Python, SQL, TensorFlow, and NLP/computer vision frameworks, backed by certifications from IBM, Google, and WorldQuant. I have also led data-driven projects, improving workflows and decision-making.
Beyond coding, I have written about AI’s role in society, contributed to community projects, and am fluent in English, Urdu, and elementary Chinese. My passion is using AI to create a positive impact, from detecting online harassment to improving climate health through satellite data.
Some of my key projects include the Harassment Detector (ResNet50), Satellite Field Segmentation, and Aerosol Optical Depth Estimation. I have also won TechQuest 2024, received the Youth Laptop Award, and earned multiple Kaggle medals.
