Tinos NoƩ ANAGO, is a software engineer and Green IT pioneer and climate activist in Africa. From Benin, he is a GIZ certified social entrepreneur. Orphaned, his background, which began in an underprivileged community, motivated him from an early age to fight for the empowerment of young people and to combat social inequalities.
As founder of NerdX Digital, and Lead GDG Ouidah, he has brought together over 1,000 young people around green innovation, making digital a tool for positive change. Every year, his Greenathon brings together 200 web entrepreneurs, proving that the potential of young people to find sustainable solutions to environmental challenges is immense.
A founding member of Youth IGF Benin and Internet Society, he is also an advocate of women's empowerment in technology. Through initiatives such as Digital Women Heroes, WEIT, SheGrowth Bootcamp and others.
His achievements, such as the EcoLog and Reland, have won many awards, testifying to his leadership and innovation. Guest on many conferences and platforms such as RFI, he shares his expertise with millions of youth, lighting their path towards a digital and ecological future. He provides access to ICTs for people with disabilities and disadvantaged communities through the HandiNum project. By training women and farmers in marginalized regions, he demonstrates that positive change is possible, even in the most difficult contexts. His ambitious project now is to create an army of motivated young people, ready to contribute to the achievement of SGDs using digital through his International Youth In Digital for Development Association.
