Starting from my education at College Ahuntsic, University of Ottawa, Aston in Birmingham, and Université du Québec à Montréal, I developed a passion for marketing at an early age. I earned a master's degree in international marketing in 1990, with a minor in Information Data Technologies. After completing my education, I began my career by setting up new sales structures for a stock brokerage. Later, I worked as a university assistant professor in marketing, and then traveled to Madagascar to help establish consulting offices for micro start-up businesses. I also assembled a team to find jobs for women living in impoverished regions, funded by UNICEF. I spent 20 years working in the banking industry, specializing in corporate spending on web-based tools for large North American companies. During this time, I also pursued my passion for histamine, which led me to found a biopharmaceutical group called Histapharm in 2010. Our group pioneered a technology to balance histamine levels, using active ingredients extracted from vegetables, and I strongly believe in the production of green products. I am the owner of intellectual properties granted in Canada, USA, and Europe for a bi-enzymatic tablet made of Diamine oxidase and Catalase that can balance the rate of histamine and hydrogen peroxide. Looking towards the future, I am focused on leveraging information technologies to drive the growth and success of Histapharm in 2023 and beyond.
