Our scientific research app is a comprehensive tool designed to revolutionize the academic and scientific research process. It combines cutting-edge technologies such as natural language processing and machine learning to offer four main functionalities:

* Advanced Article Search: Using APIs such as arXiv, the app allows users to perform deep searches across vast databases of scientific articles. Results are presented in a structured manner, facilitating the rapid identification of relevant information.
* PDF Analysis: Users can upload PDF documents of articles or patents for automated analysis. The app extracts key information, synthesizes key findings, and can identify gaps in research, all by leveraging advanced language models.
* What-if Experiment Generation: Employing complex reasoning techniques, the app can create and analyze what-if experiments based on user-provided topics. This fosters creativity and helps explore new research directions.
* Intelligent Chatbot: A key component of our app is an advanced chatbot that interacts with users to understand their research needs. This chatbot has the unique ability to dynamically determine whether a task requires the use of the most powerful model (o1-mini) or can be efficiently handled by a lighter model. This feature optimizes performance and resources, ensuring that each query is processed with the right level of computational power.

The intuitive interface, developed with Streamlit, makes these powerful functionalities accessible to both novice and expert researchers.
