1. Edge AI in Orbit


Challenge: Develop AI models optimized for orbital data centers, focusing on real-time Earth observation data processing and analytics.


2. Quantum and Advanced Computing in Space


Challenge: Explore how orbital data centers equipped with optical communication can enhance quantum computing capabilities, focusing on quantum encryption, inference, and large-scale AI model training.

3. Secure Space Communications


Challenge: Create solutions ensuring secure, ultra-low-latency optical communication between orbital and terrestrial systems, enhancing quantum-resistant security protocols.


4. Orbital Infrastructure Optimization


Challenge: Design scalable and resilient orbital data center architectures using radiation-resistant hardware, autonomous self-repair, and energy-efficient solar power utilization.


5. Inter-Satellite Optical Networks


Challenge: Develop optical inter-satellite networking technologies to optimize data transfer, support advanced inference scenarios, and manage distributed training workloads in orbital constellations.


6. Real-Time Autonomous Decision-Making


Challenge: Address technical challenges highlighted by Axiom Space, including real-time multi-sensor data fusion, autonomous decision-making using AI/ML and large language models, and cyber-secure endpoint detection and response independent of terrestrial infrastructure.


7. Sustainable and Responsible Space Computing


Challenge: Propose sustainable operational models addressing space debris reduction, optimized energy use, and lifecycle management of orbital computing infrastructure.

How effectively the model(s) are integrated, focusing on the agent's ability to perform tasks autonomously, automate processes, work efficiently, and maintain high productivity.
Presentation
The clarity and effectiveness of the project presentation, ensuring the solution is well-communicated and its technical details, business value, and originality are easily understood.
Business Value
The agent's impact and practical value, considering how well it fits into business areas and enhances human-agent collaboration to improve business processes and outcomes.
Originality
The uniqueness and creativity of the solution, highlighting innovative approaches and the agent's ability to demonstrate imaginative and distinctive behaviors.
