StoryGPT is a where we have a world agent which is given information and it can generate stories using characters whether human or AI like a DM in dungeons and dragons would. You have help from AI creating these worlds and evolving them.

For writing they can be used to write novels and screenplays. For education language learning and historical lessons etc. For entertainment games and roleplay and this is just the start.  It has only been possible today but there are still significant challenges to make it to production with safety and reasonable cost.
