Comprehensive Analysis, which ranks sources by credibility, providing a Trust Score, source information, and detailed analysis.  And a Privacy-First Approach, ensuring your queries remain private and secure, with a history of recent fact checks for easy review.

Technology and Development

VerifyIt's development leveraged cutting-edge technologies. Google's Custom Search API and Programmable Search Engine aided information retrieval.  Granite3.1-moe (IBM's long-context mixture of experts model) was used for low-latency content truthfulness evaluation.

The frontend uses HTML5 and Bootstrap CSS for a responsive design, with JavaScript for a dynamic user experience. The backend utilizes a Flask API for robust processing and asynchronous request handling. Crawl4AI (a web scraping framework) and Granite (with customized prompt templates) contribute to advanced content analysis. Chrome's Local Storage ensures user search history is stored and accessible.
