MediSched is a cutting-edge solution that revolutionizes hospital appointment management through an advanced chatbot interface. Designed to streamline the scheduling process, MediSched leverages a powerful language model to assist patients in booking, canceling, and rescheduling appointments with ease. By integrating seamlessly with the hospital’s database, MediSched provides real-time information about doctor availability, ensuring that patients can make informed decisions and secure appointments that fit their needs.
The chatbot interface is user-friendly and designed to handle a variety of patient requests. When patients wish to book an appointment, MediSched collects essential details such as the patient's name, problem, preferred appointment day and time, email, and the doctor they wish to consult. It then checks the availability of the selected doctor, handles scheduling conflicts, and confirms appointments via automated email notifications.
For rescheduling, MediSched retrieves current appointment details, verifies new time slots for availability, and updates the schedule accordingly, ensuring minimal disruption. In case of cancellations, the system efficiently removes the appointment from the schedule and informs the patient via email.
