The application provides a comprehensive space exploration experience through dynamic data cards, a 3D ISS tracker, live asteroid monitoring, and an intelligent AI assistant that can explain complex space phenomena in an accessible, engaging manner.
Developed during the AI for Astronauts Hackathon, CosmoGuide leverages cutting-edge technologies like Google's Gemini AI and NASA's open data APIs to create an immersive learning and exploration tool. The platform features three specialized AI agents - Explorer, Analyst, and Teacher - each offering unique perspectives on space science. From displaying the daily Astronomy Picture of the Day to tracking the International Space Station's real-time location and providing up-to-the-minute space weather alerts, CosmoGuide makes space exploration accessible to everyone, regardless of their scientific background.
