Connectivity without Sustainable Energy Access is usually Dead on Arrival. Our idea is based on using AI Agents to help solar energy consumers in underserved areas learn and track CO2 offsets to earn connectivity credits that can be redeemed in form of SMS, Voice & Data microbundles. The ICARUS AI Bot is designed to abstract away from the complexities of photovoltaic based carbon offsetting models and carbon credits based on GHG emissions avoided by using solar energy. The AI helps users to redeem connectivity on demand in form of Data & SMS or voice on a gamified platform, while incentivizing sustainable living and digital inclusion in off-grid communities and disrupting the $1.5Trillion Carbon markets at the same time. This model is tailored to augment the rising adoption of abundant solar energy in southern Africa which has been hit with a 1200MW drought induced Hydropower deficit.
