This project aims to improve educational access in Niger by strategically optimizing the placement of network towers to maximize school connectivity while minimizing cable and infrastructure costs. Using geographic data and optimization algorithms, the project identifies optimal tower locations, ensuring the shortest possible distance from schools to hubs. This approach reduces the required length of cables, significantly lowering deployment and maintenance expenses. By providing reliable internet coverage to the highest number of schools, the initiative seeks to bridge the digital divide, enhance learning opportunities in underserved regions, and create a cost-effective, sustainable solution for digital education access.
